Why my computer cannot connect to ScanSnap iX500 (The ScanSnap Manager icon does not become blue)?


Has ScanSnap iX500 ever been connected to your computer and worked properly before?

If No, please try following:

  1. Can I connect ScanSnap iX500 to the computer via Wi-Fi?
  2. Is the wireless access point setting of the communication between the wireless devices disabled?
  3. Is there any security restriction in your network?
  4. Is there any secrurity restriction on your computer?
  5. Can I connect ScanSnap iX500 via Wi-Fi while connecting to another ScanSnap via USB cable?
  6. Is the Wi-Fi switch at the back of ScanSnap iX500 turn on?

If Yes, please try following:

  1. Can I connect ScanSnap iX500 to the computer via Wi-Fi?
  2. Can I connect ScanSnap iX500 to the computer via Wi-Fi when it is connected to another mobile device?
  3. Can I connect ScanSnap iX500 via Wi-Fi while connecting to another ScanSnap via USB cable?
  4. Is there any security restriction in your network?
