ScanSnap Home shows the message "the maximum number of licenses has already been used" during installation.
This message appears when you have used the ScanSnap Cloud service on the computer to install ScanSnap Home.
If you have used the ScanSnap Cloud service before, switch your ScanSnap Cloud account to a ScanSnap Account. Follow the steps below to switch your account to a ScanSnap Account and sign in ScanSnap Home with a ScanSnap Account.
- On the window above, Click on "click Here" in "If an account is not registered, click Here" to visit a webpage where you can sign in with your ScanSnap Cloud account.
- Sign in with your ScanSnap Cloud account. Your ScanSnap Cloud account will be switched to a ScanSnap account by agreeing to the agreements displayed.
- Once switching is completed, select "Use a ScanSnap account" on the window above and sign in with your ScanSnap account.
This completes activation of ScanSnap Home. Close the window to start using ScanSnap Home.
