After ScanSnap Organizer overwrites a file which is stored through Microsoft® SharePoint® Server 2010, ScanSnap Organizer could not access to the library and folder of Microsoft® SharePoint® Server 2010. How can I recover this symptom?


This symptom occurs under the following conditions.

Case 1:

  1. Using Microsoft® SharePoint® Server 2010 linkage function
  2. Site, library and folder name is written by 1-byte character string such as English, French and German.
  3. Setting a 2-byte code character string such as Japanese and Chinese as a property for library
  4. Using ScanSnap Organizer V4.1L12 or earlier and uploading the file which file name is written by 1-byte code character string such as English, French and German to the library in 3) or to a folder in that library
  5. Uploading and overwriting the file in 4) by using ScanSnap Organizer V4.1L12 or earlier
  6. Accessing the library or folder in which the file in 5) is stored

Case 2:

  1. Using Microsoft® SharePoint® Server 2010 linkage function;
  2. Site, library or folder name is written by a 1-byte character string such as English, French and German;
  3. Using V4.1L12 or earlier ScanSnap Organizer and uploading the file which has a 1-byte character string such as English, French and German to a library or the folder in the library;
  4. Inputting a 2-byte code character string such as Japanese and Chinese for the title on the [Properties] screen;
  5. Uploading and overwriting the same file by using ScanSnap Organizer V4.1L12 or earlier;
  6. Uploading the file even though the title which is input on the [Properties] screen is garbled;
  7. Accessing to the library or folder in which the file in 6) is stored.

  • V4.0L11/L12/L13/L14
