Where does ScanSnap save created images? Can "ScanSnap Organizer" save image files onto a network folder?

Although ScanSnap Organizer usually saves image files in the "C:\<user name>\Documents\ScanSnap" folder ("...\My Documents\My ScanSnap" for Windows® XP), you can change settings to save these files in a different destination.

Go to the application button on left above -> [Options] -> [Popular] -> [Folder] to change the file saving destination.

ScanSnap users can only assign local folders to "ScanSnap" ("My ScanSnap" for Windows® XP) folder settings.

[How to assign a folder (how to create shortcut to folder)]

  1. Click red rectangle area of ScanSnap Organizer 002-02in the Home tab, or click rectangle area of ScanSnap Organizer 002-03in the Home tab then select "Shortcut to Folder...".
    -> A dialog box where you can select a target folder will be displayed.
  2. Select the folder (network folder) that you wish to assign, and click on [OK].

    -> The folder that you selected will be displayed under [ScanSnap] ([My ScanSnap] for Windows® XP) folder, and you can now view the contents of the folder in ScanSnap Organizer.
