ScanSnap Home says “You need to allow ScanSnap Home to access all data in the disk.” on macOS. - To perform a scan with ScanSnap, either one of ScanSnap Home or ScanSnap Manager V7 is required. You do not need to install both.

# Software Problem Workaround 1 ScanSnap Manager If [Convert to Searchable PDF] is specified as the application to link after scanning, the process is not completed and the PDF file cannot be saved.
Also, you cannot convert scanned PDF files to searchable PDFs by using [Convert to Searchable PDF].Select [Convert to Searchable PDF] in the [File option] tab to scan.

*ScanSnap Manager Evernote Edition is not available on the macOS Monterey 12 as it does not support any 32-bit applications.
If you want to keep using your scanner, change your ScanSnap Evernote Edition to iX500 by updating its firmware, and use it with ScanSnap Home.

If you will use macOS 10.13 or earlier, you can keep using ScanSnap S510M/S500M/S300M on the OS. When you use macOS 10.14 or later, please consider purchasing a ScanSnap that is currently available.
