I cannot connect ScanSnap iX500 to a mobile device properly.


Check the following items:
Have you been able to operate while connecting to the mobile device?

  1. No, I am connecting for the first time.
    • Are the mobile device and the ScanSnap iX500 connected to the same wireless LAN?
    • Is the wireless access point setting of the communication between the wireless devices disabled?
    • Is there any security restriction in your network?
  2. Yes, I have been able to operate the scanner while connecting to the mobile device.
    • Are the mobile device and the ScanSnap iX500 connected to the same wireless LAN?
    • Is ScanSnap Connect Application running on the mobile device?
    • Are you not connecting another mobile device to ScanSnap iX500?
    • Are you not using the ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool on your computer?
    • Are you not scanning using ScanSnap iX500 on your computer?
    • Is there any security restriction in your network?
