When I install ScanSnap Home onto a new computer to add a ScanSnap, the message "Sign in with an additional license number." appears.
This message appears because you have reached the maximum number of licenses.
If you have a computer where you have used ScanSnap Home but will not use ScanSnap Home anymore, deactivate ScanSnap Home on that computer, and then add a ScanSnap on the new computer.
How to deactivate ScanSnap Home (not using a ScanSnap account)
Connecting the computer to the internet, select [Help] -> [License activation] -> [Preference] menu and press [Sign out] button in the [Account] tab to deactivate ScanSnap Home.
How to deactivate ScanSnap Home (using a ScanSnap account)
Connecting the computer to the internet, select [Help] -> [License activation] -> [Preference] menu and click [Click Here] in the [Account] tab.
Sign in with your ScanSnap Account.
Click [Edit] button.
To deactivate ScanSnap Home, press [Remove] button.
- You are able to press the button once every 3 months.
- Once you press the button, ScanSnap Home will be deactivated in all your devices and
you will have to sign in again to activate ScanSnap Home.
