ScanSnap Cloud Precautions with iOS 14/iPadOS 14



The following symptom has been observed with ScanSnap Cloud. Follow the instruction for a workaround.

Problem

When ScanSnap Cloud is started for the first time after installation, a dialog appears requesting access to the local area network. When "Don't Allow" is selected, no scanner can be found.

Workaround

Open the [Settings] screen on iOS/iPadOS and on the settings screen for [ScanSnap Cloud] app, enable [Local Network].
