ScanSnap Connect Application Precautions with iOS 14/iPadOS 14

The following problems have been observed with ScanSnap Connect Application. Follow the instruction for a workaround.

Problem 1

When linking a file to another application from the file list, there are cases when the file linkage operation cannot be performed successively.


Exit ScanSnap Connect Application and restart. After that, retry the file linkage operation.


An update for ScanSnap Connect Application will be released in January 2021.

Problem 2

When ScanSnap Connect Application is started for the first time after installation, a dialog appears requesting access to the local area network. When "Don't Allow" is selected, no scanner can be found.


Open the [Settings] screen on iOS/iPadOS and on the settings screen for [ScanSnap] app, enable [Local Network].
