Download the software update that corresponds to the VRS version in use.

This update corrects the following malfunction.

Malfunction
Scanning operation fails when the scanner is recovered from power saving mode, and then a Multi-Feed error occurs at the first page of the document batch.
Occurrance Conditions (in order)
1. Multi-feed occurs during duplex scanning. Then Scanner enters into the power saving mode with the Multi-Feed image displayed on the computer screen.
2. The operator clicks the [OK] button to tell the scanner that the displayed Multi-Feed image does not have any problem.
  (There is no malfunction if cancel or rescan is selected.)
3. Multi-Feed occurs again when scanning the first page of the document batch.

Note: This update applies only to computers with VRS4.2 or VRS4.5 for fi-6800 installed.
