Consumables replacing method

Replacing the Pick Roller Unit:
  1. Remove the ADF Paper Chute.
  2. Open the Pick Roller cover.
  3. Pull out the two Pick Rollers from the rotating shaft.
  4. Attach both of the two Pick Rollers to the rotating shaft.
    Insert each roller so its socket will fit to the rotating shaft screws on the scanner.
  5. Close the Pick Roller cover. Confrim that both sides of the covers are locked firmly.
  6. Attach the ADF Paper Chute.

Reset the Pick Roller counter
  1. Confirm the scanner is connected correctly to your computer, then power on the scanner.
  2. Select the [start] menu -> [All Programs] -> [Scanner Utility for Microsoft Windows] -> [Software Operation Panel].
    -> The [FUJITSU Software Operation Panel] window appears.
  3. From the tree listing on the left, select [Device Setting].
    -> The following panel appears.

  4. Click the [Clear] button beside the [Pick Roller] counter.
  5. Click the [OK] button on the confirmation panel displayed.
    -> The counter is reset to 0.
  6. Click the [OK] button on the [FUJITSU Software operation Panel] window.
Replacing the Brake Roller Unit:
  1. Open the Brake Roller holder while holding the Pick Arm.
  2. Remove the Brake Roller.
  3. Pull out the Brake Roller from its shaft.
  4. Attach a new Brake Roller.
    Join the groove of the shaft with the protruding section of the rotating shaft.
  5. Put the Brake Roller by adjusting the flat section of the rotating shaft to the guide slot of the Brake Roller Holder.
  6. Close the Brake Roller Holder.

Reset the Brake Roller counter
  1. Confirm the scanner is connected correctly to your computer, then power on the scanner.
  2. Select the [start] menu -> [All Programs] -> [Scanner Utility for Microsoft Windows] -> [Software Operation Panel].
    -> The [FUJITSU Software Operation Panel] window appears.
  3. From the tree listing on the left, select [Device Setting].
    -> The following panel appears.

  4. Click the [Clear] button beside the [Brake Roller] counter.
  5. Click the [OK] button on the confirmation panel displayed.
    -> The counter is reset to 0.
  6. Click the [OK] button on the [FUJITSU Software operation Panel] window.
