Print Cartridge Not Installed

When an error with the print cartridge installation occurs, the following error code is displayed on the LCD of the operator panel.

Check if the print cartridge is installed correctly and that the area where the print cartridge is to be installed is clean in the following procedure:

1. Turn off the scanner.
2. Open the print cartridge cover from the middle part as shown below.

   

3. Squeeze both ends of the print cartridge holder to release the print cartridge holder lock and lift it open as shown below.

   

4. Remove the print cartridge.

   

5. Check whether the area where the print cartridge is to be installed is clean.
   If it is dirty, clean the area of the imprinter side and the cartridge side with a dry cloth.

   ATTENTION:

   Do not touch the metal part (contact surface) of the cartridge with your hand.

6. Insert the print cartridge with the tab part to the right.

   

   ---

   ATTENTION:

   Be careful not to scratch or damage the wiring film with the print cartridge.

   ---

    

7. Lower the print cartridge holder slowly until it is locked.

   

8. Close the print cartridge cover.

   

9. Turn on the scanner.
