Paper Protection
When the paper protection function is activated, the document feed stops and one of the following error codes is displayed on the LCD of the operator panel.

Paper protection increases the level of sensitivity to detect paper jams, which reduces the risk of damaging the document when you perform scanning with the ADF.
- If this error occurs, check if the document meets the requirements described in "Documents for Scanning".
- If this error occurs frequently even when you use a supported paper type, disable the paper protection function.
- If documents remain in the ADF, remove the documents by referring to "Paper Jam".
