Document jam

When a document jam occurs, "J" and "1" will display alternately on the function number display panel of the scanner.

Please perform the following:

  1. Remove all documents from the ADF paper chute.
  2. Open the ADF while pressing the ADF open button.
  3. Remove the jammed papers from the ADF.
  4. Close the ADF pushing the center part of the ADF carefully.

If document jams occur frequently, please confirm the following and perform the necessary steps.

Please clean the ADF or eliminate the dirt from the ADF.

Please install the Pick Rollers properly.

Please replace the Pick Rollers.

Please clean the Brake Roller.
