Fanning Documents
Before loading multiple sheets of documents in the scanner, fan them in the following procedure:
- Take a batch of documents in reference to the following:
- For documents of A4 size or smaller
A number of sheets with a thickness of 10 mm or less - For documents larger than A4 size
A number of sheets with a thickness of 5 mm or less
- For documents of A4 size or smaller
- Hold both ends of the documents and fan them a few times.
- Rotate the documents by 90 degrees and fan them in the same manner.
- Perform steps 1 through 3 for all documents.
- Align the edges of the documents.
