Multifeed

When a multifeed occurs, "J" and "2" will display alternately on the function number display panel of the scanner.

Please correct by performing the following:

  1. Remove all documents from the ADF paper chute.
  2. Open the ADF by pressing the ADF open button.
  3. Remove the jammed documents from the ADF.
  4. Close the ADF pushing the center part of the ADF carefully.

If multifeed errors occur often, below are multifeed error indications and measures for preventing future errors.
