Optical Error (ADF Front)

When an optical error with the front side of the ADF occurs, the following error code is displayed on the Function Number Display of the operator panel.

"E" and "2" are displayed alternately

• Clean the glass inside the ADF by referring to "Cleaning".
• Turn the scanner off then back on.

If the problem persists, write down the error details displayed in the Error Recovery Guide window, and contact your FUJITSU scanner dealer or an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider.
