SAP S/4HANA® Manufacturing for Production Engineering and Operations (PEO) provides vertical integration of information between technical departments and production site management, ensuring reliable transfer of information of design. It is also an integrated design and manufacturing solution that enables you to respond quickly to mass customization to follow changes in your customers’ markets and to strictly manage the quality of your production site with precise digitized information from the production site.

Three features of PEO

  The design BOM, manufacturing BOM, and process design can all be managed in a consistent manner.
  3D drawings can be used also in process design.

  Precisely digitized production site management (PO)

  You can achieve integrated management of work procedures, manufacturing version control, qualification management, tool control, buyoffs (process quality approvals) and work instructions with PEO alone.

  Vertical integration between design and production site (PEO)

  The consistent linkage of information between design and the production site allows technical requirements to flow down. The effects of design changes are quickly applied to the production site, minimizing the impact of production disruptions.
