Trust in the Age of Fake News
Social networks like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram have long become part of our everyday social and business lives. It's no longer a question of whether you need social media for your business, just how you use it.
The Fujitsu Social Media Night takes place on Tuesday 5th November 2019 at Fujitsu Forum 2019, which opens its doors the following day, and it is going to be an evening to remember!
Under the theme "Trust in the Age of Fake News", we will explore some of today’s most controversial issues, like the social implications of fake news and how trust can be built and maintained in the world of online communication.
Fujitsu is delighted to team up with our partner NetApp to host this insightful and enjoyable evening focused on the latest digital social media trends.
The evening will include outstanding keynote speakers, including the BBC’s internationally-renowned digital expert Kate Russell and the Norwegian economic philosopher Anders Indset. Following their presentations, they will join a lively and engaging panel discussion on the key challenges of driving trust in the digital age. The whole event will be hosted live on stage by blogger, author and model Riccardo Simonetti.
The discussion will be followed by a relaxed evening of networking and music.
We hope you can join us at this special event. Secure one of the exclusive limited tickets now!
Born and raised in Bad Reichenhall, Riccardo Simonetti founded the blog "The Fabulous Life of Ricci" at the age of 16, which was to be the starting shot for his later career. The blog was about fashion and unconventional outfits. Above all, however, Riccardo's personal columns focused on his turbulent career as a model, actor, presenter and dreamer - the goal was always clear: to entertain people and inspire them to believe in themselves.
At the age of 14, Riccardo already hosted his own programme on local radio, at 16 he played in the youth ensemble of the Salzburg Landestheater. His blog, which was one of the most successful in Germany, later opened doors for him in the media world: today Riccardo Simonetti has his own TV show, which has set ratings records, is a bestselling author, a popular TV face and one of the most widely printed male celebrities in Germany.
Riccardo Simonetti tries to make the best possible use of his voice in public and is committed to the issues that are close to his heart. He is committed to equality and tolerance and fights against exclusion and social stereotypes. Riccardo supports various charitable projects and is an honorary ambassador of "Youth Against Aids" and "DKMSlife".
