BaseN Corporation, the next generation real-time data management solution provider and Fujitsu Finland are strengthening their cooperation. The agreement signed by the two companies in 2010 covers networks and telecommunications, as well as servers, work stations and applications. A new agreement will expand the firms’ cooperation to include real-time monitoring of printer systems.
The BaseN Platform will enable the real-time metering and monitoring of thousands of Fujitsu’s IT infrastructure customers’ measurement targets throughout Scandinavia. The monitoring system will allow such rapid and efficient identification and repair of faulty devices that repair procedures will be initiated even before problems actually become visible. As well as reducing or eliminating down time, advance maintenance will also prevent damage to devices.
"We expect our monitoring requirements to grow markedly during 2012, and BaseN’s system scales flexibly. What’s more, their provider independent system can collect and process vast
amounts of information with a resolution of one minute”, says Fujitsu Head of Department Petri Salonen.
”BaseN will bring to Fujitsu a real and significant benefit, as just one system will enable the easy and efficient monitoring of almost all the applications and devices of various manufacturers”, Sales Director Jukka Paananen of BaseN says.
