Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server Linkage Related Errors (ScandAll PRO) -QA2-

Q2. Why does a message telling me that I cannot use "Scan to Microsoft SharePoint" appear whenever I try to activate "Scan to Microsoft SharePoint" from a ScandAll PRO installed computer?

An error message does not appear when ScandAll PRO and "Scan to Microsoft SharePoint" are used with Windows Server 2003 R2.
A2. One of the above messages appears when using a ScandAll PRO installed computer that has had "Scan to Microsoft SharePoint" installed into it. These messages only appear in cases when the Windows® operating system of a ScandAll PRO installed computer has been updated using either Windows Update's "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1" or ".NET Framework 3.5 Family Update" after January 27, 2009.

This message is caused by a "Scan to Microsoft SharePoint" malfunction, when the computer that it is installed into has been updated by either "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1" or ".NET Framework 3.5 Family Update".
  1. The following operating systems are affected by this malfunction:
    • Windows® XP Home / Professional (32bit)
    • Windows® XP Professional (64bit)
    • Windows Vista™ (32bit/64bit)
    • Windows Server™ 2003 R2, Standard Edition (32bit/64bit)
    • Windows Server™ 2008 Standard (32bit/64bit)
  2. Countermeasure:
    The updated module that will correct the linkage related malfunction that is stated above is now available. Please refer to the following website and download this updated module.
  3. Affected scanners
    All of the SETUP CD-ROM / DVD-ROM discs that come bundled with the following scanners contain ScandAll PRO and may be affected by this problem. The ScandAll PRO version that is contained in each SETUP CD-ROM / DVD-ROM disc is written on the disc's label.
