The V ta-form is made by changing て te and で de of the te-form into た ta and だ da respectively.→Appendices 7 Verb conjugation & usage of different forms2 V ta-form た　ことが　あります ta koto ga arimasu　 have the experience of V-ingThis sentence pattern is used to describe what one has experienced in the past.This is basically the same sentence as 'わたしは Watashi wa N が あります ga arimasu.' The content of one's experience is expressed by the nominalized phrase V ta-form た こと ta koto.■ 京きょうと都へ　行いった　ことが　あります。 Kyoto e itta koto ga arimasu. I have been to Kyoto.■ わたしは　まだ　行いった　ことが　ありません。 Watashi wa mada itta koto ga arimasen. I have not been yet.
