Fujitsu Releases New 4 Mbit FRAM with Non-Volatile Memory with SRAM-Compatible Parallel Interface Shanghai, CN-EN,Global, November 14, 2013 - Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. today announced the development of the MB85R4M2T, a 4 Mbit FRAM chip with an SRAM-compatible parallel interface. The new product will be made available in sample quantities starting January 2014. It uses a 44-pin TSOP package compatible with standard low-power SRAM, so it can substitute for SRAM in industrial machinery, office equipment, medical devices, and other equipment that currently uses SRAM. Because it stores data persistently with no need of a battery, it contributes to hardware that is more compact, less power-hungry, and lower in total cost.

Fujitsu to Begin Sample Shipments of GaN Power Device with 150V Breakdown Voltage Shanghai, CN-EN,Global, July 23, 2013 - Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. today announced the release of MB51T008A, a silicon substrate-based, gallium-nitride (GaN) power device that features a breakdown voltage of 150 V. Sample quantities of the new product will be made available starting July 2013. The new device, which enables normally-off operations, is capable of achieving roughly one half the figure of merit (FOM) of silicon-based power devices with an equivalent breakdown voltage. With the addition of the new product to its lineup, Fujitsu Semiconductor will be able to offer GaN devices that contribute to smaller, more efficient power supplies for a wide range of fields, from home appliances and ICT equipment to automotive applications.
