Fujitsu Releases Transcoders with Built-in Memory, H.264 Transrating Function Shanghai, CN-EN, December 01, 2011 - Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. today announced the development of three second-generation transcoders with built-in memory, the MB86M01, MB86M02, and MB86M03. The new products, which are bi-directional H.264/MPEG-2 transcoders, can convert both video and audio data, and can also perform full HD (1920 x 1080) conversions. Even with built-in memory, they deliver very low power consumption, consuming only 1.2W. Sample shipments of the new products will begin towards the end of March 2012.

Fujitsu Semiconductor Released the Industry’s first Commercial Multi-mode Multi-band 2G/3G/LTE Transceiver Chip Shanghai, CN-EN, October 24, 2011 - Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd. recently announced release of the industry’s first commercial multi-mode transceiver chip--MB86L12A. The chip, as a follow-up to the MB86L10A, can eliminate external LNAs and inter-stage SAW filters from the TX and RX paths of both 3G and LTE lineups. The transceiver features a high-level programming model for controlling the radio using an open standard digital interface (3G and 4G DigRF/MIPI), which is compatible with a wide range of industry baseband. It is ideal for multi-mode, multi-band LTE, UMTS and EDGE mobile handsets. The MB86L12A transceiver chip will be available in sample quantities from December.
Fujitsu Semiconductor’s FM3 Family of 32-bit Microcontrollers Expanded with 64 New Products Shanghai, CN-EN, October 18, 2011 - Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. today announced the launch of the third wave of products in its FM3 Family of new 32-bit RISC microcontrollers based on the ARM® CortexTM-M3 processor core, which debuted in November of last year. Fujitsu Semiconductor Extents Lineup of 8bit Microcontroller products Shanghai, CN-EN, September 28, 2011 - Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. today announced the release of 8 models of MB95630 series, to enhance the lineup of F2MC-8FX Family. The new product employs a DC brushless motor controller and an analog voltage comparator, thus more suitable for the application in motor control. The MB95630 series is a member of the F2MC-8FX Family. As an update version of the 95330H series, it is pin-to-pin compatible with the 95330H series. The sample will be available from late September, 2011 and shipment will start in January, 2011.

Fujitsu Semiconductor Launches a New Generation AVS Interactive STB Decoder Solution Shang Hai, CN-EN, March 03, 2011 - Fujitsu Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. today announced the release of MB86H06, a new generation of interactive Set Top Box (STB) Mpeg2/H.264 decoder solution that is also capable of supporting China's AVS format.
