Welcome to the International Congress Center, Munich

This year’s Fujitsu Forum will be held at the International Congress Center (ICM), located just 20 minutes from Munich city center. It’s considered to be one of the most prestigious conference centers in the world, that has set new standards in architecture, equipment, infrastructure and service.

The ICM provides a modern and inviting atmosphere, with 8,000sq meters of exhibition space and seating for up to 6,000 people. In addition, there are several meeting rooms, where you can come and listen to expert talks and take part in our breakout sessions. More information is available on the ICM website.

Munich, known as the Metropolis with Heart, is a city that perfectly combines the professionalism of a commercial, media and research center with rich culture and outstanding hospitality. Its hotels are world class, and its many sights and cultural institutions are internationally renowned. Munich has one of the most efficient public infrastructures in the world, with an extensive network of trams, buses, underground and suburban trains.

Travelling by road to the International Congress Center, Munich

The International Congress Center is located 25 miles from Central Munich, directly off freeway A94 at exit 6 Feldkirchen-West or exit 5 München-Riem. The way to Messe München and the ICM is clearly signposted. Please refer to our road map for a detailed look at road networks and junctions.

The ICM venue has a dynamic traffic control system that regulates traffic flow. On arrival you will be directed to the parking space that’s closest to the conference building. In addition, there’s also additional parking located within walking distance (150meters) at; Parkhaus West, Paul-Henri-Spaak-Str. 6, 81829 Munich.

Trains from Munich Central Station to the International Congress Center

U2 subway trains (direction Messestadt Ost) run between Central Munich and the ICM from 4am to 1am, and take 18 minutes. An unlimited day pass (Tageskarte) can be purchased for €11.

During peak travel times; 07:30 - 10:10 from Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and 15:10 - 18:55 from Messestadt West, trains run every 5 minutes.

Trains from Munich Airport to the International Congress Center

Munich Airport, located 25 miles from the city center of Munich, is served by the S-Bahn (suburban local trains).

You’ll find the S-Bahn station located directly below the central area of the Munich airport. There are 3 routes to the ICM (direction Messestadt Ost); Route 1 - S8, U5 and U2 (46mins), Route 2 - S8 and U2 (60mins) and Route 3 - S1 and U2 (60mins).

Taxis from the airport

Fixed priced taxis can be found in front of the airport terminal. A one-way taxi ride to the ICM takes up to 35 minutes (traffic dependent) and costs €63.
