Cares Remote Receipting

Cares has been developed by Fujitsu as a stand-alone application that handle cash receipting for water, electricity, housing rentals, licences etc. It can cope with inter MSS payments, has build-in security options, caters for check digit validation on account numbers and can generate bank deposit slips

Cares is a stand alone payment receipting application which can run on DOS,WIN95, 98 and 2000.

The Windows application is able to co-exist with other programs running at the same time. The application can be altered to meet specific customer requirements.

The program does make any billing decisions which a customer may require. However, programs that can interrogate a billing system can be integrated with this program.

There are 3 different levels of users will all the applicable functions:

• Cashiers
• Supervisors
• Admin

• It has a built-in calculator, the same as a desktop calculator.
• Different allocation codes can be specified as well as build-in vote numbers
• A CDV is done on a Debtor numbers
• Caters for RSC Levies
• Single as well a multiple entries are allowed.
• Different types of accounts can be paid, all depending on the user requirements.
• Different payment methods are allowed and this is important to keep record of the cheques to be deposited and cash not be mislaid.
• The application will display RD cheques with all the relevant information and only the supervisor can override transactions.
• The data can be written to the cashiers local drive or to a network database.Reporting is done at the end of the day.
• Monthly reports also available.
