Content for PeopleSoft is an open framework based on J2EE standards, including Web Services, JSP, XML and SOAP. Content for PeopleSoft uses the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture ™, introduced with PeopleTools 8. Completely focused on the Internet to support real-time business processes, Content for PeopleSoft provides powerful functionality for secure, scalable Internet-based access and integration.
Content for PeopleSoft currently contains three components:
- Human Capital Management Module
- Accounts Payable (AP) for Invoicing Module
- Enterprise Portal Module
Human Capital Management (HCM) Module
PeopleSoft 8 HRMS lets you manage HR business processes - from recruitment to retirement - with pure Internet applications
that are built on best practices. The HCM Module provides the facility to manage forms, resumes and other content for PeopleSoft
8 HRMS through the use of Documentum. This content can then be made available in PeopleSoft for users and administrators.
Content can also be routed for processing and approval using the workflow and collaboration tools provided in Documentum.
Accounts Payable (AP) for Invoicing Module
PeopleSoft Financial Management Solutions empower employees to make business decisions by using the same financial information
and strategic insights that are available to senior management. The AP for Invoicing Module provides the capability for invoices
to be scanned into Documentum. They are then available in real-time from PeopleSoft.
Integrating the capabilities of Documentum and PeopleSoft enables you to increase visibility and help ensure compliance on expenditures. The ability to view invoices online enables you to gain critical insights and improve decision-making.
Enterprise Portal Module
By using your PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal, you gain a customised, single gateway to all your critical information stored
in PeopleSoft and Documentum. By using the Enterprise Portal Module, you can manage, link, participate in a workflow and publish
documents in Documentum.
