Johannesburg, September 19, 2009 — After four years of using PegaSys, SAA has reaffirmed its commitment to the Fujitsu PegaSys Solution for its planning, operations control and crew management. Currently, SAA makes use of the Fujitsu PegaSys product in the areas of:

South African Airlines
  • Schedule planning an operations control

Mike Re, SAA CIO, stated: "We have had a long-term relationship with Fujitsu, where they have an intimate understanding of our business; and PegaSys, through its integrated architecture and continually enhanced functionality, is well positioned to support our operational environment moving forward."

"SAA and other airlines are facing a global shift with regards to the ever-changing operational demands that are being placed on them," says Thierry Goor, business solutions manager at Fujitsu Services.
