At Marzek Etiketten+Packaging GmbH, Fujitsu designed and implemented a flexible high-performance PRIMEFLEX for Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct architecture on the basis of Windows Server 2016.

Customer

For decades, Marzek Etiketten+Packaging has been known across Europe for its highquality labels and packaging for wine, beverages and food products. The renowned European group of companies is 100% family-owned, has more than 650 employees and operates production facilities in Austria, Hungary and the Ukraine.

Challenge

Marzek Etiketten+Packaging GmbH wanted to replace its existing IT architecture due to international expansion. The new infrastructure was supposed to grow in line with the increasing requirements and offer sufficient capacities for flexible extensions.

Solution

Fujitsu designed and implemented a PRIMEFLEX for Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct architecture according to the customer’s individual requirements working closely with Marzek Etiketten+Packaging GmbH and SELECT partner ABAX Informationstechnik GmbH. Powerful PRIMERGY Enterprise servers form the technical backbone of the hyper-converged infrastructure.
