ABOUT FUJITSU

Fujitsu Services South Africa, part of the third largest IT Company in the world, joined forces with Microsoft to work together in the local government market developing a local solution to provide a real alternative to other ERP Solutions currently available.

After a rigid assessment process, Fujitsu decided to enhance the already functionally rich ProMIS solution by redeveloping it on Microsoft’s .NET platform. Fujitsu believes in getting realistic when it comes to developing solutions that are practical, timely to implement, cost effective, simple to use and above all reliable, delivering business critical solutions which fully deliver against the clients business challenges. ProMIS.NET provides an upgrade path for all existing ProMIS customers and a very strong alternative to traditional ERP solutions.

Promis.net was designed and developed by the South African development team and Remains South African intellectual property.

The Microsoft partnership extends to include its Dynamics CRM offering which is being deployed in numerous organisations delivering all aspects of a single view of the customer.

Bidevco

Fujitsu Services South Africa joined forces with local company, Bidevco, in order to develop and increase local skills in the Eastern Cape. Their vast knowledge of the Eastern Cape region and their desire to work with international companies made them an ideal choice to engage on the ProMIS.NET roll-out at Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (NMBM).

Sun Microsystems

FUJITSU SA has over 20 years experience in designing, building and operating data centre systems, and a proven track record with Sun Microsystems spanning 10 years.

The FUJITSU Sun Competency Unit focuses on developing solutions and services around three main business drivers that challenge the marketplace today namely Cost, Risk and Complexity and has developed solutions that deal with these business challenges through an implementation strategy that includes reducing TCO, Consolidation, Utilisation, Commercial and Managed Services.

As a Sun Accredited Partner, Fujitsu is able to extend its offering beyond the Sun platform to also include value-added services by providing break-fix support and Managed Services around the Sun infrastructure. Fujitsu have set up a Proof of Concept Centre within its Rivonia office, which provides an environment in which Fujitsu will work together with partners and customers.
