Fixed Asset Management Software (FAMS)

Fixed Asset (FA) is part of company’s Total Asset Value, and it needs to be controlled to make sure it is used efficiently, and in someway, can contribute to the process of profit generating for the company.

FAMS is an application developed by Fujitsu Vietnam Limited, typically designed for medium-sized enterprises and factories. FAMS can provide full asset management, including budgets, status, disposal, depreciation, and provide information for ledger management. Flexible depreciation is offered through the choice of different methods for each asset, and a unique Asset Diary provides lifecycle histories for each control.

With FAMS, user is able to:

- Update information of company.
- Add or update changes, delete Settlement periods.
- Carry over data from previous settlement period to current period.

Backup all data to file and restore database when database is broken or lost.

FAMS surely helps administrator to manage the company's FA effectively. It has “inquiry” function and can list all related items by category, location, department, or individual staff. Just by a mouse click, the administrator can easily trace the record of specific equipment, its input price, specifications, the using duration, its past and current owners respectively, provided that these information must be adaquately input in Master Data table. With some simple manipulations, administrator can adjust FA's information, dispose, transfer and divide FA among different departments of the enterprise.

What's more, FAMS is fully-integrated application, especially into EZ-Series products of FVL. FAMS has function of depreciation calculation. Once the purchase date and price are input, the system can automatically calculate the devalued part and the remaining based on the set formula.

FAMS is built by Visual Studio .NET, which allows you to create applications that leverage the

power of the World Wide Web. This includes everything from a traditional Web site that serves HTML pages, to fully featured business applications that run on an intranet or the Internet, to sophisticated business-to-business applications providing Web-based components.

Any functions of FAMS are powerful forms-based Web pages. User interface (UI) used ASP.NET server controls. These controls allow you rapidly built the functions or reuse-able common components.
