Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem attends the MOU Signing Ceremony between VNPT and Fujitsu.

Tokyo, 22 September, 2003 — A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Corp (VNPT) and Fujitsu Vietnam Limited (FVL) was signed, marking a significant event in the cooperation relationship of the two companies.

Under the MOU, VNPT and FVL will cooperate to develop solutions and products serving Vietnam and other countries in the region. FVL will support VNPT to develop IT human resources as well as train high-ranking experts for VNPT. This is the first cooperation agreement between VNPT and Fujitsu in IT Human Resource development, at the same time, it may lead to the new development trend in training, and enhancing IT staff qualifications so that Vietnam IT products can be stretched to foreign markets.
