Fujitsu Vietnam Limited cooperates with Hanoi University of Technology

Vietnam, 11 November, 2003 — On the morning of November 11, 2003, a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Agreement between Hanoi University of Technology (HUT) and Fujitsu Vietnam Limited (FVL) was held at HUT premises.

According to the Memoradum, FVL will grant Award to 2 excellent students per semester, and will take valid for the period of 5 academic years 2004 ~ 2009. Dr Nguyen Canh Luong - Vice Rector of HUT, expressed his great pleasure over FVL's goodwill and believed the event would partly facilitate and encourage students to improve their study results.

FVL, a branch office of Fujitsu Limited Japan, started operation in Vietnam in 1999 and specializes in software development and service business. Mr. Mitsuhiro Kotani - General Director of FVL, said FVL was very honored to make small contribution to HUT in human resource development, especially in the field of Information Technology and Electronics Telecommunication. Thru the event, FVL hopes more students of HUT will get to know the name of Fujitsu, and are willing to cooperate with FVL in the future.

HUT is one of high-ranked universities of Vietnam, where many skilled IT experts as well as professional telecommunication engineers were trained and graduated. Fujitsu Vietnam Ltd. has made a good choice for its investment in Hanoi University of Technology.
