Fujitsu, together with its authorized distributor, joins the 12th Vietnam IT Week and Computer Expo 2003 in Hanoi.

Vietnam, 28 November, 2003 — Fujitsu, together with authorized distributor in Vietnam - MITEC, participated in the 12th Vietnam IT Week and Computer Expo 2003 that was held at Giang Vo Exhibition Center in Hanoi from 28 November ~ 3 December 2003.

The 12th Vietnam IT Week, IT Expo 2003 with the Theme “Intergration and Development” is an opportunity for decision makers, scientists, world leading companies and Vietnamese business to exchange and introduce technology solutions, most advanced products and most practical applications in the spearheaded economic sector – ICT industry.

At Fujitsu/Mitec booth, visitors are able to see a wide range of IT equipment, from Desktops, Lifebooks, Projectors to Scanners and Servers. Visitors are also introduced about typical applications developed by Fujitsu Vietnam Limited such as: EZ Manage (Human Resource Management Software); EZ Procure (Sales activities management Software); EZ Accounting (an application for Accounting and Financing works); and EZ Process (Material Management Software in manufacturing and assembling enterprises).

Especially, most of visitors were drawn attention to new Biometric Authentication technology (PDF 106 KB) of Fujitsu. This is the World First Contactless Palm Vein Pattern Biometric Authentication system that can verify a person's identity by recognizing the pattern of blood veins in the palm. Fujitsu also joins and presents the seminar on Fujitsu's Solution for critial Computing System on the morning of 1 December 2003.
