FVL helps Hanoi Seiyu to build Home Delivery Service through the Internet

Vietnam, 1 July, 2001 — 

On 1 July 2001, Hanoi Seiyu Supermarket officially started "Home Delivery Service" through the Internet on http://www.hanoiseiyu.com.vn. At the first phase, the Supermarket provide this service for customers in Hanoi area.

This is the outcome of an e-commerce project between Hanoi Seiyu Supermarket and Fujitsu Vietnam Limited (FVL). In 1999, FVL acted as the retail solution provider including the hardware package (POS terminal, PCs, servers and LAN ) as well as the back office merchandise software.

Since 2000, FVL have been developing the e-commerce solution based on Microsoft DNA technology. With such a solution, Hanoi Seiyu Supermarket accepts orders made through the Internet. In addition, customers can stay home, surf the supermarket's website and see all details relating to items available at the supermarket . Currently, more than 2000 items have been on sale on www.hanoiseiyu.com.vn.
