Fujitsu Asia Pacific Scholarship Program (FAPSP)
Every year, Fujitsu Limited provides one scholarship for Vietnam on Intercultural Management Program (ICMP) in Hawaii Univesity in Japan-America Institute of Management Science (JAIMS), USA and in Japan.
JAIMS, a non-profit postgraduate institute, has been a pioneer in intercultural management education since 1972. Over 20,000 participants from more than 50 countries have come to JAIMS to study intercultural business management, cross-cultural communication, business language, and information technology. Fujitsu Limited, a leading provider of customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace, established JAIMS 30 years ago in the Honolulu suburb of Hawaii Kai with a support office in Tokyo. The Intercultural Management Program (ICMP) is an intensive, postbaccalaureate level certificate program that focuses on American business principles and methods. The coursework focuses on business and intercultural management in addition to business English communication. While the primary perspective is U.S business management, regional and global business and related cultural issues are presented as well. Also, in each course throughout the program, participants are required to use computers as appropriate. This enables them to learn and then apply these specialized computer skills in the workplace.
The ICMP is a four-month curriculum that enhances English communication skills, builds confidence in intercultural business situations, and sharpens global management knowledge. The curriculum consists of three groups of courses:
- Foundation Lectures/ Workshops
- Required Courses
- Elective Courses
To fulfill the requirements of ICMP and receive a Graduate Diploma, all participants must complete a minimum of 24 total credits with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0

From academic year 2003~2004, Fujitsu Vietnam Limited (FVL) provides scholarship to 12 excellent students per semester in 6 Universities, both in Hanoi and HCM City.
Scholarship (in cash) will be granted to two (2) top excellent 4th year students for each University based on their average point and academic results that were provided by his/her Faculty.

International Cooperation Department of the University or correlative faculty shall act as coordinator to provide Academic Results, select students and grant scholarship together with FVL certificate to students.
The event shows FVL's interests in encouraging students in IT and Telecommunication fields. Also, it is a chance for Fujitsu to promote its brand name among student community.
