The NETSMART® 500 craft interface tool is a Java™-based application that supports the next-generation Fujitsu FLASHWAVE® product line. A powerful Graphical User Interface (GUI) makes provisioning and troubleshooting a simple and efficient process.The NETSMART 500 software supports graphical shelf views, equipment and facility provisioning, alarm surveillance, Software Download (SWDL), Remote Memory Backup (RMBU) and Remote Memory Restore (RMR) capabilities, and cross-connect provisioning.

In addition to basic provisioning, the NETSMART 500 software offers:

• SWDL and Service Provisioning wizards for simplifying Network Element (NE) operations
• Intelligent provisioning checklist, which guides the user through provisioning and management processes
• A common look-and-feel with NETSMART 1500 Element Management System (EMS) software
• Extensive tool tips to assist the user with understanding various GUI representations
• Toolbar icons for quick access to commonly used functions
• Transaction Language 1 (TL1) command builder and batch file support
