Fujitsu Network Communications offers co-operative education (co-op) opportunities to students in either full-time or part-time capacities. Our co-ops function as full participants in their team, with meaningful project assignments and daily responsibilities that contribute to the team’s overall success.

What is the difference between a full-time co-op and a part-time co-op?

  • Full-time Co-Ops
  • Must be working in an engineering field
  • May be required to do multiple co-ops for their degree plan
  • May or may not be attending classes
  • Part-time Co-Ops
  • Work and attend classes during the same semester
  • Must successfully complete credit hours while they are employed

What is the time commitment?

  • Full-time Co-Ops
  • 4-6 month semesters depending on degree plan and school requirements
  • Average 40 hours a week
  • Part-time Co-Ops
  • January through May, or August through December
  • Number of hours varies based on class schedule

What are the requirements to apply?

  • Co-op must be tied to the cirriculum at the student's university
  • Must be pursuing a degree that is relevant to the position
  • Must be considered a full-time student at an accredited college or university
  • G.P.A. must be a 3.0 (overall or major) for a bachelor’s student or 3.25 (overall) for a master’s student
  • Must be at least a junior or have completed two years of college
  • Must be able to prove eligibility for employment in the United States upon hire
