The A-8100 metro aggregation switch delivers scalable, highdensity Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet services. Up to fifteen 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports or up to 120 Gigabit Ethernet ports can be provided using the 17-slot chassis, which occupies only one-third of a standard telecom rack. The switch features 150 Gbps non-blocking switching and up to 450 million packets per second in provisioned throughput.
