Atrica's A-2160 Carrier Ethernet Edge Switch has been developed specifically to enable service providers to provide the most mission critical Ethernet services in outdoor environments. A-2160 has been designed to be mounted on outdoor poles, on the strand between two poles, or other non-environmentally friendly locations, extending carriers and service provider's Point of Presence (PoP) virtually to anywhere. A-2160 allows service providers to significantly reduce operation cost and time-to-market by its environmentally hardened internal design, fully sealed waterproof metallic enclosure as well as carrier-class redundancy and serviceability for easy deployment and maintenance. It can be used for cost-effective wireless backhaul, Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), Fiber-to-the-Curb (FTTC) and Fiber-to-the-Business (FTTB) access network applications. The powerful A-2160 boasts a broad range of intelligent network services, featuring granular Quality of Service and sub-50ms protection that enable service providers to rapidly provision secure Ethernet access with flexible Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high profitability.
