The Fujitsu FLASHWAVE® Optical platforms and Atrica® Optical Ethernet platforms provide a seamless solution to meet the challenges you face when building next-generation metro networks.

The A-200 is a compact Optical Ethernet demarcation device that delivers a managed, cost-effective Gigabit Ethernet circuit to customer premises.The A-200 offers:

  • Remote real-time statistics and monitoring
  • Remote loopback testing
  • Flexible Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) optics to support distances up to 120 km
  • Remote software upgrades
  • Line rate throughput
  • AC or DC power supply

The A-200 includes a chassis and a pluggable module with a single user port and a single network port. All of the Ethernet interfaces feature hot-swappable SFP transceivers capable of accommodating 1000Base-T, 1000Base-SX (500 m), 1000Base-LX (10 km) and 1000Base-LH (50 km, 70 km and 120 km) for complete deployment flexibility.

The A-200 offers Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)-based manageability in-band via the network port, as well as local management through the RS-232 port or the Ethernet management port.The local management is password protected and can be disabled by the service provider for increased security.The A-200 offers transparent Ethernet access and is capable of passing 802.1Q tagged or untagged customer traffic to the Optical Ethernet network.
