Compact Optical Ethernet Access Device

The Fujitsu FLASHWAVE® Optical platforms and Atrica® Optical Ethernet platforms provide a seamless solution to meet the challenges you face when building next-generation metro networks.

The A-100 Optical Ethernet access device provides you with a compact, cost-effective managed demarcation solution. This powerful Optical Ethernet access device expands your ability to deliver Ethernet services to all locations. The A-100 access device comprises a compact chassis and pluggable demarcation modules.The Fast Ethernet (FE) demarcation module includes a 10/100Base-TX copper interface to the user and a 100Base-LX fiber interface to the network. An RS-232 local management interface is also included for full SNMP-based manageability and service provisioning via the Atrica Service Platform for Ethernet Networks (ASPEN®) management system. The A-100 access device is available with an AC power supply to allow deployment in a wide variety of locations. Both tagged (802.1Q) and untagged customer traffic can be passed through the A-100 access device to the Optical Ethernet edge or core network.
