DESCRIPTION

Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe announces the following enhancements and changes to the 32.bit RISC family MB91360 : The Mb91360 family (so far represented by the MB91V360 and MB91F361) has been optimized and extended. Considering the feedback from our customers, Fujitsu has applied some enhancements to the internal bus architecture and has redesigned the core unit to be more suitable for embedded applications. The overall performance of all MB91360 devices will increase, the iterrupt-latency will be reduced and some existing problems are removed from the core. The embedded flash-cell, the on-chip peripherals and most of the control logic will stay as they are. The evaluation chip MB91FV360 will support all new devices. Due to the above mentioned enhancements, the MB91F361x device is discontinued. The MB91F362GA is a full - pin compatible - replacement of MB91F361x series.
