Accemic MDE (MDE = Monitor Debugging Environment) is the key to success for all software developers using modern single chip microcontrollers. For today's 16-bit and 32-bit embedded processors, Accemic MDE provides powerful state-of-the-art debugging capabilities and a very intuitive, easy-to-use visual interface.

Accemic MDE is designed to deliver functionality that will reduce the time spent on testing and debugging. Accemic MDE is the first tool on the market allowing to debug 16LX and FR microcontrollers (with on-chip EDSU support) in single chip mode without using an emulator. So even the debugging of single-chip applications can be done, debugging program code located in the internal Flash memory.

The processor status window shows the processor's register fields graphically in both symbolic and numeric format, which cuts out the tedious process of searching thousands of manual pages for register descriptions. There is also the possibility of controlling the direction and status of IO ports. Ports, which are used by the internal peripheral device of the contents, are shown in a deactivated status. Customers highly appreciate the processor status window as a very comfortable tool for initial tests of a new hardware.
