DESCRIPTION

This application note provides some information and recommendations how to connect external crystals or resonators to Fujitsu microcontrollers. In order to achieve a proper and stable clock oscillation the composition of external circuits, PCB layout design and the microcontroller must be taken into account and evaluated carefully. The selection of the crystal or resonator depends also on the application requirements and environmental conditions.
