DESCRIPTION
The MB90460 series is a line of general-purpose, Fujitsu 16-bit microcontrollers designed for process control applications
which require high-speed real-time processing, such as consumer products. While inheriting the AT architecture of the F²MC(*)
family, the instruction set for the F²MC-16LX CPU core of the MB90460 series incorporates additional instructions for high-level
languages, supports extended addressing modes, and contains enhanced multiplication and division instructions as well as a
substantial collection of improved bit manipulation instructions. In addition, the MB90460 has an on-chip 32-bit accumulator
which enables processing of long-word data. The peripheral resources integrated in the MB90460 series include: an 8/10-bit
A/D converter, UARTs (SCI) 0 to 1, 16-bit PPG timer, multi-functional timer (16-bit free-run timer, input capture units (ICUs)
0 to 3, output compare units (OCUs) 0 and 5, 16-bit PPG timer, waveform generator), multi-pulse generator (16-bit PPG timer,
16-bit reload timer, waveform sequencer), PWC 0 to 1, 16-bit reload timer and DTP/external interrupt.
