The Fujitsu line-up includes leading-edge full High-Definition (HD) H.264 CODEC IC products that can compress and decompress full HD video (1,920 dots x 1,080 lines) in the H.264 format in real time. The Full HD/SD transcoder can convert from MPEG-2 to the higher compression H.264 format to reduce data-storage requirements.
This product line-up can be used for video processing in products ranging from consumer applications (such as digital video
cameras and home network appliances) to industrial applications (such as security cameras and broadcasting equipment).
