MB86276 - ADVANCED INFORMATION

MB86276 will be a new extention to the Fujitsu Graphic Controller Family for 2D applications. This chip is based on the Coral family core functions and will be optimized for 2D rendering. The display controller, rendering engine and video input unit will be taken from the successful Coral P family but the floating point co-processor and all 3D-functions will be taken out. Also, the CPU interface will be optimized for more CPU connections and the device will have some new functions to support small footprint graphic applications. This chip will replace the Lavender on the long term. Lime will be 100% binary compatible to the Cremson and Coral family.
