FRAM

FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory)

Fujitsu was a pioneer in FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) technology with more than 10 years of mass production experience. FRAM is a high-performance and low-power non-volatile memory that combines the benefits of conventional non-volatile memories and RAM. Similar to Flash and E2PROM, FRAM is a non-volatile memory, but it consumes less power and offers higher endurance to multiple read-and-write operations then these other memories. In other respects, FRAM performs similar to standard RAM by offering fast reading and writing. This breakthrough storage medium is used in a variety of applications including RFID, security and various other consumer products.

DCDC

6MHz buck boost DCDC converter

The Fujitsu MB39C326 is the industry's first 6MHz Synchronous Buck Boost DC/DC Converter. Designed to power the radio frequency power amplifiers (RFPAs) in mobile handsets or other mobile devices that use a single-cell Li-ion battery, the DC/DC converter device switches at a higher frequency (6MHz) than conventional converters on the market. The higher switching frequency is more efficient and permits the use of a smaller inductor, reducing the overall board space of the power management circuits by as much as half. The buck-boost functionality of the Fujitsu MB39C326 helps prolong battery life and efficiency.
