- Fujitsu 40A High-Temp Automotive Relay Is Market’s Smallest
Sunnyvale, CA, February 4, 2008 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. has released the market’s smallest 40A, high-temperature-grade automotive printed circuit board relay. Capable of switching heavy loads such as for power outlets, fan motors, electronic power steering and starters, the FBR53-HW relay replaces larger plug-in relays to conserve PCB weight and real estate in Electronic Control Units.

Sunnyvale, CA, January 23, 2006 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today announced the release of a fourth-generation, ultra-miniature automotive relay for motor applications. The new relay is a slim device that is 28% smaller than its third-generation predecessor, the FTR-P3.

An internal U-shaped spring enables the relay’s low noise level even when mounted on a printed circuit board.

The company’s other product lines (connectors, resistive touch panels, thermal printers, KVM switches, and keyboards) will be converted to lead-free materials by March 2004.
